Uganda Cranes and former URA attacking midfielder Shafiq kagimu is set to complete his move to Kenyan side Gor Mahia.
Gor Mahia is under Coach Jonathan McKinstry who was once at Uganda Cranes with Shafiq kagimu.
During McKinstry short ERA at Uganda Cranes, he preferred Kagimu in the attacking Midfielde role.
At Gor Mahia, Kagimu will set to join his Country mate Patrick kaddu who joined the club in January.
Kagimu joined URA FC in 2015 from Water FC and he was a key player during his stay at the club.
In his 7 year period at the club, He even Captained the tax collectors.
However, Kagimu had some misunderstandings with the club (URA) that resulted into him (Kagimu) parting ways with the club on Mutual Consert.
The misunderstandings came when him (Kagimu) refused a salary cut yet all players had agreed.
Other players that refused were Joachim Ojera who is now on Rayon Sports on loan and George Senkaaba who is now on Kitara.
The other was striker Derrick Nsibambi who joined Turkish side in January.
The Salary cut was proposed by all club officials according on how the team was performing in the first round.
