
Uganda Cranes head Coach Micho Sredjovic will be taking on Tanzania in Egypt at Suez Canal Authority Stadium today on 24th March 2023.
This comes after Uganda as a country failed to present a Stadium that was worth CAF standards.
On 28th March Uganda will be taking on Tanzania in the reverse fixture in Dar es Salaam at Benjamin Mpaka stadium.
Uganda Cranes head coach Micho revealed on how his team is prepared for the East African derby.
” We have done so much behind the scenes for close to nine months to make sure we get good results against Tanzania”.
” l believe we are mentally ready, physically fit, technically effective and tactically aware. Playing in a derby means you must be at your best because such games are determined by small margins ” He concluded.
Tanzania are under new coach Adel Amrouche who too will aim for positive results today.
Uganda are currently at the buttom of the group with 1 point level with Tanzania who are third.
Algeria tops the group with 9 points following their late win over rivals Niger.
Niger remained second with 2 points.
