Vipers SC 1-1 URA FC – St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.

Vipers shared a point with URA following a 1-1 draw with the tax collectors in a game played on Saturday 22nd at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende in Uganda Premier League.

In a game played under Floodlights, URA scored first in the 13th minute through Patrick Paul Mbowa.

However, Vipers put pressure and this paid off in the 30th minute With Karim Ndugwa shoot getting in pass goalkeeper Nafian Alionzi.

Vipers had a chance to go to the break with 3 points but Abubakar Lawal’s header failed to get on target.

Both teams created less goal scoring chances in the Second half, and this was reflected by the results.

URA’s best chance came through Joshua Lubwama’s freekick which got inches wide.

The Venoms too saw their best chance getting wide with Frank Zaga Tumwesigye’s shoot in the 74th minute.

With the results, Vipers remained 3rd on the Uganda Premier League log with 36 points from 19 games.

Their next encounter will be on Tuesday 25th as they will visiting Arua hills at Barifa stadium.

URA FC remained 4th on the log with 34 points from 23 games, their next game will be on Saturday 29 against Maroons at Mehta Stadium, Lugazi.
