KCCA 4-1 SC Villa – MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo.
Wakiso Giants 3-0 Oduparaka – Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium.
New KCCA interim manager Jackson Mayanja started with positive results when his side defeated SC Villa 4-1 to complete double in Uganda Premier League.
Tshisungu Kankonde, Rogers Mato, Saidi Mayanja and Julius Poloto all appeared on the score sheet while Charles Bbaale scored only the consolation for the Jagoos.
Kankonde gave KCCA an early lead in the 22nd before Saidi Mayanja doubled the lead 4 minutes later.
Charles Bbaale pulled one back for the visitors in the second half though Rogers Mato with his screamer didn’t give them hopes for an equaliser.
Julius Poloto completed the 4-1 score for KCCA with a finish in the stoppage time.
Jackson Mayanja win means KCCA have now end their poor form, they had gone 5 games minus winning.
SC Villa have now lost two consecutive games including the last one of Arua hills and then this.
The results means KCCA closed the gap which SC Villa was leading with to 2 as they moved to 41 points while SC Villa remained to 43 points .
Jackson Mayanja will next play in Uganda Premier League on 29th Saturday as they will be visiting Gaddafi FC.
On the other side, SC Villa will be hosting Vipers SC on the same date.
