KCCA FC 2-2 Oduparaka – MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo.
Vipers SC 2-0 Gaddafi FC – St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
Vipers returned to winning ways after defeating Gaddafi FC thanks to goals from Abubakar Lawal and Abdul Lumala.
In a game played on Floodlights at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende, Abubakar Lawal opened the score in the 23rd minute with a strike thanks to Milton karisa’s magical pass.
The other beautiful chance for the Venoms in the first half came with the skipper Karisa heading in but goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa was there for the great save.
Second half Substitute Abdul Lumala who had taken long to score doubled the lead for the Venoms in the 77th minute.
The results means, Vipers SC closed the gap on table leaders SC Villa to 4 points, they are three behind KCCA FC as they remained 3rd on the log with 42 points.
On the other side, Gaddafi FC remained 10th on the log with 29 points from 24 games.
Vipers SC will next play KCCA on 5th Friday at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende while Gaddafi will have to host Maroons FC on Tuesday 9th in their next game.
